Lanier LD015
The Lanier LD015 was designed to be versatile and meet the needs of the different environments it is likely to work. It’s fast enough to satisfy time conscious users, good enough for the detail oriented and quiet enough for those who work in smaller offices and don’t want to listen to the machine working all day.
This device will suit workgroups of up to 20 people and brings quality printing to the widest possible audience. You no longer have to be a large corporation or multi-national to enjoy the benefits of Lanier systems, now everyone can print high quality documents quickly.
There are three varieties of LD015, the LD015 which offers printing and copying. The LD015f offers printing, copying and fax, while the LD015spf offers network scanning, copying and printing as well as scanning. Each has an automatic duplexer and automatic sorting to speed up production.
The LD015spf also offers scan to email, internet faxing and other value add features to ensure business productivity is never waiting for the LD015. All devices can be easily networked once connected to a router. Basic functions are available immediately, once discovered on a network, and the more advanced features are only a driver install away.
The SmartDeviceMonitor software allows administrators to keep an eye on the device and offers a full range of diagnostic utilities. The Web Image Monitor also allows for remote management tasks through a browser, including monitoring toner levels, paper levels, duty cycle and daily usage.
The control panel allows up front control, the printer and copier only option including a cut-down version with a clear LCD screen and clear function buttons. Add the fax and scanner and the panel doubles in size. The screen, and extra buttons are still clear and easy to read despite the small footprint.
Overall the LD015 is a good, workhorse device in whatever configuration you choose. The modular nature of it makes sense, if an office doesn’t scan there is no point paying for a scanner, likewise for fax. By offering the ability to pick and choose the features, the LD015 can fit into many more workgroups that many of its competitors.
